During their secondment period at Odense University Hospital (OUH), our doctoral candidates had the valuable opportunity to participate in the Symposia – Advanced Adenomas and Early Colorectal Cancer, organized by SATCC (Surgical Research Unit, OUH Svendborg).

The symposium represented an inspiring day of scientific exchange, multidisciplinary discussion, and shared commitment to improving patient care. Through interactions with clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals, our students were able to deepen their knowledge of current challenges and innovations in the management of colorectal cancer and advanced adenomas.

Experiences like these are an important part of the project, offering our doctoral candidates not only high-level scientific exposure, but also the opportunity to engage with international research environments and strengthen collaborations across institutions.
