Doctoral Candidate Katharina Springub (DC2) has completed her first secondment as part of the MSCA INTELLI-INGEST project. Over the course of one month at the beginning of 2026, she was hosted by the SATCC Research Section at Odense University Hospital (OUH) in Denmark.
During her stay, Katharina gained insights into clinical research practice, including observation of the camera capsule project and colonoscopy procedures, and engaged closely with the multidisciplinary team of PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, clinicians and research nurses at SATCC.
The secondment also facilitated broader network collaboration, with exchange and brainstorming sessions alongside doctoral candidates from the University of Birmingham, as well as a joint project presentation meeting at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) with the research group of Assistant Professor Ali Sahafi (Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering).
Katharina joined the INTELLI-INGEST project in September 2025, pursuing her PhD at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
