Marked the official midterm meeting of the MSCA Doctoral Training Network “INTELLI-INGEST”, hosted at the the IDUN Centre of Excellence at the Technical University of Denmark, Copenaghen, Denmark.
Just over a year after the ambitious launch of our EU and UKRI-funded programme, the INTELLI-INGEST consortium recently gathered in person for its Midterm Meeting. This milestone event brought together academic, clinical, and industry partners alongside our Project Officer to review the progress made since the project’s inception. It was a unique opportunity to transition from remote collaboration to face-to-face engagement, allowing the entire consortium to strengthen professional bonds and align on our shared vision for the future of ingestible medical devices.
The heart of the meeting focused on the work of our early-career researchers, who presented the progress achieved during the first months of their respective projects. The exchange of ideas between representatives from across Europe underscored the power of our multidisciplinary approach.
The atmosphere throughout the meeting was exceptionally positive and productive, fostering a deeper level of integration across the consortium. By meeting in person, we were able to solidify the relationships necessary to drive this complex project forward, ensuring that INTELLI-INGEST continues to push the boundaries of miniaturized technology for internal diagnostics and therapy.
We leave this meeting energized and more united than ever as we move into the next phase of our project. 🔬💙 Stay tuned!
